How does the payment and key delivery process work? How long until I get the key?

The payment process is fully automated via VietQR : Choose the key type (Cheap or Claude Code) and the top-up amount on the homepage. The system generates a QR code with a unique transfer note (e.g. SAK1234 ). Scan the QR with your banking app or transfer manually - important: keep the transfer note exactly as given . Once the bank confirms the transaction, the system automatically issues the key (or adds credit to an existing key) and sends it via email plus shows it on the page within 1-3 minutes . If it is slow : outside business hours, bank maintenance, or an incorrect transfer note. If you have not received it after 15 minutes , please: Check the Transaction History section in your account. Yes. You do not need to buy a new key every time the credit runs out. The top-up process: Go to the Quick Top-up section on the homepage. Select the correct key type (Cheap or Claude Code) - it must match the key you want to top up. Paste the target API key into the input field. Enter the amount to add - note the correct minimum (usually $10) and the correct multiple required on the form. Pay via VietQR just like buying a new key. The credit will be added to your existing key. Top-ups also qualify for tier-based promotions just like new purchases, so topping up a larger amount at once saves more.

How do I check the balance and view detailed usage of a key?

There are 3 ways to check: Homepage - Check Balance : paste the key into the field and click check to instantly see the remaining credit. Logged-in account : go to the Dashboard to view your list of keys, credit, request history, most-used models, and a daily consumption chart. Call the /usage API : integrate it into your own tool/dashboard. A sample URL is shown right below the key input on the homepage - just pass the key via the header. Every request to the API is logged: model, input/output token counts, and the cost deducted from credit. You can audit all usage in the dashboard.

Does the credit in a key expire? Is there a monthly maintenance fee?

No. ShopAIKey does not apply a fixed expiration period and does not charge maintenance fees . Specifically: Credit stays in the key until you use it all up through API requests. The key is not automatically locked if left unused for a long time. No hidden fees, no recurring monthly/quarterly charges. The only exception: if there is a major policy change (for example, dropping support for an upstream provider), we will notify you in advance via email and an on-site banner so you have time to use up or withdraw your credit.

A ShopAIKey API key works just like a native OpenAI/Anthropic key - no limit on the number of devices or environments: Use it in parallel across a personal laptop + production server + CI/CD . Share it within a team (everyone uses one key, credit is counted in total). Configure it on multiple VMs, Docker containers, and GitHub Actions . Security recommendations : Treat the key like a password - do not commit it to public Git , do not paste it into forums/screenshots. Store it in an environment variable ( .env ) or a secret manager. If the key is leaked, go to the dashboard and revoke it and issue a new key immediately - the remaining credit is preserved and moved to the new key.

ShopAIKey does not publish fixed thresholds for accounts. Processing speed depends on several factors: System load at the time of the call - peak hours (8-11am, 2-5pm Vietnam time) may be slower. Upstream provider - when OpenAI/Anthropic are globally overloaded, latency rises accordingly. Model - newly released models (Opus 4.x, GPT-5) usually have stricter rate limits than older ones. In practice : most users running under 100 requests/minute hit no limits. Can Gemini on ShopAIKey understand video and audio?

Yes. Gemini models accept both video and audio as input. For video, the model analyses it along the time axis, so it can answer questions that depend on what happens over time, not just the content of a single frame. For audio, it can transcribe speech and summarize what was said. How to send it: Use the native Gemini format at /v1beta/models/{model}:generateContent and pass the file via inlineData (base64) or fileData.fileUri (a public URL). streamGenerateContent works too. With the OpenAI format at /v1/chat/completions , the file must go inside an image_url part. The video_url and input_video parts are silently dropped. Cost: video is billed at 70 tokens per second and audio at 32 tokens per second , reported separately in usageMetadata by modality . Trim anything you do not need before sending to keep the cost down.
